Terms and Conditions

LaunchPad - The rules of the competition are as follows:

  • The promoter of this competition is Johnson & Johnson Consumer Inc. whose registered office is at 601 W 26th St #1601, New York, NY 10001, USA referred to as “Johnson & Johnson Consumer Inc.” and FUTR Group Ltd whose registered office is at 55 Riding House Street, London, W1W 7EE referred to as “FUTR.”
  • The Competition is open to businesses of all sizes, keen to showcase their offering and ideas to Johnson & Johnson for activation for one or more of the Johnson & Johnson brands.
  • No companies can speak to, or provide any information relating to this competition to any form of press or media.
  • There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this Competition.
  • The closing date for the Competition shall be 23:59 EST on Septembert 12th 2019.
  • After the Closing Date, no further entries to the Competition will be valid.
  • Neither Johnson & Johnson, FUTR nor its partners shall be liable for entries not received, for whatever reason including technical failures.

  • Johnson & Johnson reserves the right to cancel or amend the Competition and the terms and conditions without notice. Any changes to the Competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by Johnson & Johnson and FUTR.
  • Johnson & Johnson and FUTR are not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this Competition.
  • No cash alternative to the prize will be offered.
  • Johnson & Johnson and FUTR’s decisions in respect of all matters to do with the Competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered in to.
  • By submitting the entry to the Competition, the entrant warrants that he/she gives Johnson & Johnson the full rights in all the material submitted, and grants Johnson & Johnson a paid-up, non-exclusive, non-transferable, irrevocable, perpetual license in respect of all material to use the materials. Only non-confidential information should be included in the Submission. All information disclosed to Johnson & Johnson in this Submission will be considered as non-confidential public information.
  • Through its partnership with Johnson & Johnson, FUTR reserves the right to access all data submitted by way of the application.
  • Johnson & Johnson reserves the right to accept or reject any entry at its sole discretion.
  • To the full extent permitted by law, Johnson & Johnson and FUTR shall not be liable whether in contract, tort (including negligence or omission) or otherwise for any injury, damages, expenses or loss whatsoever (including but not limited to special, indirect incidental punitive or consequential damage) to persons or property reason in connection with participation in the Competition or arrangements for supply, or the use of ideas after the competition.
  • Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Entrant indemnifies Johnson & Johnson and FUTR (including its employees against all liability for any personal injury or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity) whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way from the Competition, including for materials submitted to the Competition.
  • The Competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
  • The finalists will be selected by a panel made up of Johnson & Johnson executives. The panel decision is at its discretion and final and cannot be challenged.
  • The winner agrees to the use of his/her company name in any publicity material. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
  • By completing submission and therefore accepting the terms and conditions you are also accepting and entering into a non disclosure agreement (NDA) with FUTR World Ltd and Johnson & Johnson Consumer Inc. and any subsidiary companies, the full details of the NDA can be found here.
  • Entry into the Competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  • The LaunchPad Day will be held in September/October 2019 at the New York Offices or via an Online Pitch event depending on which brief you have been selected for. If you are selected for the New York pitch day, you must be available to travel to New York during this period.
