The Johnson & Johnson products are sold through major retailers and online stores/marketplaces (such as Amazon and Walgreens). Submitted ideas should be relevant for instore, online, or offline to online channels. Johnson & Johnson may even consider propositions that empower a direct-to-consumer business model for their products.


RFP Information


  1. By completing submission and therefore accepting the terms and conditions you are also accepting and entering into a non disclosure agreement (NDA) with FUTR World Ltd and Johnson & Johnson and any subsidiary companies, the full details of the NDA can be found here.
  2. Once you’ve submitted your company information here, you will receive an email from us with the product-specific Johnson & Johnson briefs. You will then be able to upload your proposals for any or all of the briefs via the link provided in that email.
  3. The entrant must be able to showcase their ability to assist Johnson & Johnson brands to meet one or more of these objectives:
    • Create awareness of the brands through partnerships
    • Create campaigns that can break the through social noise
    • Driving measurable sales instore and online through innovative campaigns
    • Ability to accurately measure campaigns effectively beyond traditional engagement and metrics
    • Optimize content including images and descriptions on product pages for better performance across all ecommerce channels

  4. Your company does not have to be based in the USA but must be able to deliver your idea or solution in the USA. If you have case studies relating to the USA already, you will have the opportunity to share that within the application process.
  5. Your company can be either a B2B or B2C business.
  6. There will be 3-4 finalists per brief, each will be asked some additional questions about their companies and submission in the next round. The selected startups will then be invited to either the LaunchPad Pitch Event in New York in September/October 2019, a Pitch Event in L.A. (Date TBC) OR an online pitch event (Date TBC), depending on which brief you are selected for. During the pitch you will present the idea and meet the Johnson & Johnson brands and leadership teams
  7. There are several Influencer briefs for different Johnson & Johnson brands. Please note that whichever Influencer brief you enter, your proposal will be considered for all of them. Across all the briefs, there will be a minimum of 3 paid pilots awarded where you will be offered the opportunity to work with multiple Johnson & Johnson brands in multiple countries. There will be ongoing mentorship from Johnson & Johnson leadership, the Johnson & Johnson LaunchPad team and their agency partners on implementation of the idea or solution at that stage.
  8. Even if you are not the winning LaunchPad idea, your entries may be shared with Johnson & Johnson brands globally so other opportunities may arise to work with Johnson & Johnson in the future.

LaunchPad - The rules of the Request for Proposal (RFP) are as follows:

  • The promoter of this RFP is Johnson & Johnson whose registered office is at 601 W 26th St #1601, New York, NY 10001, USA referred to as “Johnson & Johnson” and FUTR Group Ltd whose registered office is at 55 Riding House Street, London, W1W 7EE referred to as “FUTR.”
  • The RFP is open to businesses of all sizes, keen to showcase their offering and ideas to Johnson & Johnson for activation for one or more of the Johnson & Johnson brands.
  • No companies can speak to, or provide any information relating to this RFP to any form of press or media.
  • There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this RFP.
  • The closing date for the RFP shall be 23:59 EST on September 12th 2019.
  • After the Closing Date, no further entries to the RFP will be valid.
  • Neither Johnson & Johnson, FUTR nor its partners shall be liable for entries not received, for whatever reason including technical failures.

  • Johnson & Johnson reserves the right to cancel or amend the RFP and the terms and conditions without notice. Any changes to the RFP will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by Johnson & Johnson and FUTR.
  • Johnson & Johnson and FUTR are not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this RFP.
  • No cash alternative to the prize will be offered.
  • Johnson & Johnson and FUTR’s decisions in respect of all matters to do with the RFP will be final and no correspondence will be entered in to.
  • By submitting the entry to the RFP, the entrant warrants that he/she gives Johnson & Johnson the full rights in all the material submitted, and grants Johnson & Johnson a paid-up, non-exclusive, non-transferable, irrevocable, perpetual license in respect of all material to use the materials. Only non-confidential information should be included in the Submission. All information disclosed to Johnson & Johnson in this Submission will be considered as non-confidential public information.
  • Through its partnership with Johnson & Johnson, FUTR reserves the right to access all data submitted by way of the application.
  • Johnson & Johnson reserves the right to accept or reject any entry at its sole discretion.
  • To the full extent permitted by law, Johnson & Johnson and FUTR shall not be liable whether in contract, tort (including negligence or omission) or otherwise for any injury, damages, expenses or loss whatsoever (including but not limited to special, indirect incidental punitive or consequential damage) to persons or property reason in connection with participation in the RFP or arrangements for supply, or the use of ideas after the RFP.
  • Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Entrant indemnifies Johnson & Johnson and FUTR (including its employees against all liability for any personal injury or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity) whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way from the RFP, including for materials submitted to the RFP.
  • The RFP and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
  • The finalists will be selected by a panel made up of Johnson & Johnson executives. The panel decision is at its discretion and final and cannot be challenged.
  • The winner agrees to the use of his/her company name in any publicity material. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

  • The LaunchPad Day will be held in September/October 2019 at the New York Offices or via an Online Pitch event depending on which brief you have been selected for. If you are selected for the New York pitch day, you must be available to travel to New York during this period.
